At loss for words
I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing many moments of clarity this year. Sometimes those moments are so deep and overwhelming that I can’t really put them into words. Luckily there’s artists out there for that. These words no doubt mean something different to me than to anybody else reading them at this very moment.
Suffice it to say that I have seen evil incarnate, and survived largely unscathed. While pitiful in many ways, one must never forget that it is the evil itself that spawns pitiful circumstance. Giving into pity only breeds more evil.
I pity the person who sees what I saw, and taints himself.

At loss for words by Dark Tranquillity
In waiting for..
Waiting for the signs to bring.
The first to sing.
Felt in between these fears.
Set to unknown tunes.
So tempt these fragile fiends.
A grace gone dark.
You’ll never know.
You’ll never feel.
You’ll never taste,
The depths of your defeat!
Break into the hearts and minds of man.
Never one to tell. Never one to tell…
Sucking on a lie that never ends.
Found at loss for words. Found at loss for words…
Locking on…
Locking on to faith gone bad.
Sweet touch of sin.
Not in the sleight of hand.
Can facts be lost,
So never understate your case.
Deny our weight.
There never is.
There never was.
There never can be,
A break from binding chains!

I went to Bhy Kracke park tonight to see a great view of Seattle. Let me tell you, the iPhone doesn’t do it justice, but my oh my, while I was there, I could see everything in perfect clarity.

Awesome picture. I can imagine a view like that in person would take your breath away. Thanks for sharing your moment.

And by the way- I think it’s funny that we each posted on our separate blogs on the same day about moments of clarity.
